Without materials, documents, stories and cooperation with Latvian communities abroad, we would not have the Museum and Research Centre. Therefore, one of our most important tasks is to find museum representatives in the countries where Latvians have settled to live.
Responsibilities for museum representatives:
- to gather objects for the Museum collection,
- to organise storage and shipping to Latvia for objects donated to the Museum,
- to inform Latvians and their local community about the activities and plans of the Latvians Abroad Museum,
- to research local funding opportunities and raise funds for the Museum.
